By downloading, accessing, or using the Sahana Sabha website (sahana.app) or the Sahana Sabha mobile applications on iOS and Android, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of the Platform
Sahana Sabha is a specialized digital ecosystem and social networking platform created to preserve, celebrate, and advance Carnatic classical music. Our services encompass:
- Social Media & Media Sharing: Uploading and viewing musical Reels, Beats (24-hour stories), audio recordings, photographs, and performance videos.
- Interactive Link Reels: Embedded auto-play players for user-shared YouTube and Instagram links.
- Global Event Manager: Tracking live Carnatic concerts, sabha kutcheris, and festival schedules worldwide.
- Live Event Group Chat: Real-time interactive group chat rooms for attendees and rasikas of specific events.
- Carnatic E-Commerce: Ordering physical books delivered to doorstep, digital e-books, and video masterclasses.
- Notes & Notation Pad: Composing, formatting, and storing swara notations, gamaka cues, and lyrics.
- 23 Classical Carnatic Tools: Digital tools including Sruthibox, 35 Tala Metronome, 72 Melakartha Chart, Raga Finder, Pitch Detector, Instrument Tuner, and others.
3. User Accounts & Conduct
To access certain features (such as uploading reels, ordering physical books, or joining live event chats), you may be required to register an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials.
- Engage respectfully with musicians, teachers, sabha organizers, and rasikas. Profanity, harassment, hate speech, or abuse in community feeds or event chats will result in immediate suspension.
4. User Content & Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of any original audio recordings, notations, videos, or commentary you upload to Sahana Sabha. By posting content, you grant Sahana a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, stream, and distribute your content within the platform.
You represent and warrant that you hold all necessary performance and musical rights to the material you share, and that it does not infringe upon any third party's copyright or intellectual property.
5. E-Commerce, Book Deliveries & Purchases
When ordering physical books, theoretical treatises, or digital content through our integrated store:
- Physical Goods: We partner with reliable courier services to deliver physical books directly to your specified doorstep address. Shipping times and fees are displayed during checkout.
- Digital Downloads: Digital books, notation sheets, and video masterclasses become accessible immediately upon confirmed payment.
- Refunds: Physical books may be replaced if damaged during shipping. Due to their nature, digital downloads and masterclass purchases are non-refundable once accessed.
6. Intellectual Property of Sahana Sabha
The Sahana Sabha logos, graphic interfaces, proprietary software algorithms (including our pitch detection, swara recognition, and korvai calculators), and brand names are the exclusive property of Techsukras Software Private Limited and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
Our services and tools are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive for absolute acoustic precision in our tuners, metronomes, and raga charts, Sahana Sabha makes no warranties regarding uninterrupted service or specific outcomes in stage performances or music competitions. In no event shall Sahana Sabha be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be announced on this page or via in-app notifications. Continued use of the platform after updates indicates your agreement to the revised Terms.
